How long does an audit take?

Most audits complete within 60 seconds. It can occasionally take up to 2–3 minutes depending on how much data we need to fetch from Google Maps and DataForSEO.

My report shows "Processing" — what do I do?

Refresh the page after 2–3 minutes. If it still shows processing after 10 minutes, contact us with your business name and email and we will investigate.

How is the GBP score calculated?

The score is out of 100 and reflects 9 signals: rating (20 pts), reviews (20 pts), photos (15 pts), primary category (10 pts), secondary categories (10 pts), business hours (10 pts), description (8 pts), claimed status (4 pts), and phone (3 pts).

How do I access my past reports?

Log in to your dashboard at gbpauditlab.com/dashboard — all your past audits are listed there. Each report link is permanent and shareable.

My score seems wrong — the data looks outdated.

Accepted Answer

Audit data is fetched live at the time the report is generated. If your GBP was recently updated, run a fresh audit to get current data. Google can take 24–48 hours to propagate profile changes.

Question 9

What is the ranking heatmap?

The heatmap shows a grid of positions across your city and displays where your business ranks on Google Maps for a specific keyword at each point. Green = top 3, amber = rank 4–6, orange = rank 7–9, red = not in top 10.

Question 10

My heatmap shows mostly "DZ" (Dead Zone) cells.

Accepted Answer

DZ means your business was not found in the top results at that grid point. This is normal if your listing is new, has low review count, or the keyword you chose is highly competitive. Use the AI recommendations to improve visibility.

How do I choose a good heatmap keyword?

Accepted Answer

Use the search term your customers would type on Google Maps — e.g. "dentist Subang Jaya" or "car workshop Cheras". Avoid adding your business name; the heatmap already tracks your business against competitors for that keyword.

The heatmap shows "Processing" for a long time.

Accepted Answer

Heatmap scans query 25–49 grid points sequentially and can take 2–5 minutes to complete. If it is still processing after 10 minutes, contact us with your audit URL.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe. FPX online banking is not available yet.

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

All paid reports are non-refundable once generated. If there was a technical error preventing your report from being delivered, or a duplicate charge, email us within 7 days and we will review your case.

I was charged but no report was generated.

Accepted Answer

This is rare and usually resolves within a few minutes. Check your dashboard. If the report is still missing after 15 minutes, email support@gbpauditlab.com with your payment receipt and we will either regenerate or refund the report.
